What the planets stand for
Ten bodies, ten different questions. Which one asks what.
In a chart the sign answers "how", the planet answers "what". Mars in Aries means "the way you take action runs hot". So you need to know what each planet is asking first.
Each planet asks one question
- SUN — What are you growing toward? Identity and direction.
- MOON — What do you need? Feeling and safety.
- MERCURY — How do you think and speak?
- VENUS — What do you love and value?
- MARS — How do you act, and how do you get angry?
- JUPITER — Where do you expand? Luck and excess.
- SATURN — What do you learn the hard way? Limits and responsibility.
- URANUS — Where do you break the pattern?
- NEPTUNE — Where do the edges blur? Imagination and escape.
- PLUTO — What do you change at the root? Power and transformation.

Why speed matters
Speed matters. The Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Sun move fast — those are personal, the parts that make your chart yours. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto sit in one sign for years; those describe your generation, not you. Everyone in your class has Pluto in the same sign.
Which of these carries the most PERSONAL information?
The Moon changes sign every two days; Pluto stays for twenty years. The fast ones are personal.
