Which aspect to read first

An average chart carries twenty to thirty aspects. Reading them all is impossible and pointless. The priority runs like this:

1. 1Aspects between personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars). These are YOU.
2. 2A personal planet with Saturn or Jupiter. These are life lessons.
3. 3Aspects to the angles (rising, midheaven). These show on the outside.
4. 4Last: aspects between outer planets. Those belong to your generation, not to you.

The generation aspect, not yours

An aspect between Uranus and Neptune says almost nothing about you — everyone born in those years has it. But an aspect between Uranus and YOUR Moon describes you.
